Home Information Packs from Eazi-move Estate Agents

There has been dramatic changes in Legislation this year with the introduction of Home Information Packs. From the 1st of August 2007 every home put on the open market for sale with four or more bedrooms will need a Home Information Pack and from the 10th September 2007 three bedrooms and above fall under the same legislation.

The pack includes an Energy Performance certificate, carried out by qualified domestic energy assessors, containing advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills. Documents such as a sale statement, searches and evidence of title are also included.

HIPs can help families save hundreds of pounds of their energy bills throughout the year whilst being greener to the environment at the same time. Money can also be saved by potential buyers when interested in a property where the vendor is not that interested in selling. If they have paid the money to have a HIP produced then they are serious about selling, therefore saving buyers the wasted time and money on searches etc unnecessarily.
