I am a multi skilled and professional individual with excellent communication skills. I can be very resourceful and versatile with the ability to plan effectively. I can implement procedures, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

I have supervisory experience and the ability to communicate at all levels, I can work well as an individual or effectively as a team player. I am always interested in a challenge and always looking to progress and improve my knowledge.

As well as having an obvious interest in web design and its practices, I also enjoy graphic design and video production.

When not at my computer I like to keep fit by regularly attend the local gym with friends.
I also enjoy spending time with my five year old son and my girlfiend. I love to Snowboard I tend to talk about it allot it drives my girlfriend crazy.

Technology including computer game's, TV's, iPhone and much more keep me busy when I'm not working, Snowboarding or with family and friends.

I am registered as an Apple Developer and have an interest in Apple Development although I'm yet to release any Apple applications.

I use this application when designing standard websites, i use xhtml and css in code view no use of tables unless required of me to do so.

Adobe Suite - Photoshop, ImageReady, Premier, Illustrator
I use Photoshop for most of my designing and have become advanced in all aspects of it. I use Illustrator when required for more artistic projects including logo design.

Macromedia Flash
I use this application to create animated website and animated banners to the customers specifications.

June 2000 - December 2002

Mc Donalds - Floor Manager / Staff Trainer
As a floor manager at McDonalds I supervised all sales points, kitchen duties, deliveries and the end-of-day cash balancing. I also aided the store manager with weekly performance checks, staff scheduling and training. This required excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to motivate my team and resolve conflicts.

February 2003 – January 2004

Bookes Cash and Carry - Squires GateWarehouse assistant
My role involved updating and recording stock, helping the team with orders to be collected for delivery, unloading and rotating new stock in the warehouse, re-ordering new stock low in quantity.

February 2004 – December 2006

UFindUs.com - Web Developer/Designer
I was responsible for creating a range of web sites including Flash animations to meet the individual needs of customers from the start to finish of the development process.
I had to complete all design work and development work myself and was also responsible for relaying with customers about SEO & SEM to assist them to gain better rankings within search engines - namely Google, Yahoo and MSN.

I Also assisted and guided customers with the set up of Google Adwords and ran Google Adword campaigns. I looked into where they ranked for particular keywords and advised them accordingly. Additional responsibilities included delegation of work and the monitoring of quality prior to authorizing sites going live.

January 2006 – March 2008

Freelance Webdesigner/Graphic Designer
Working from home i received job briefs via email from a number of design companies, these jobs would consist of graphic work for print such as business cards, flyer's and also websites. I always keep my work to the highest standard by creating fresh new designs implementing good keywords and some search engine optimization techniques.

Oldroyd Publishing Group - Seniour Web Designer
My initial and primary role at opg was web designer, I was required to build a variety of the more advanced websites for clients including full flash websites, modern galleries and websites with product catalogues.

As well as producing high quality websites for clients, I provided training in flash and CSS to help update older techniques and improve productivity. I aslo developed w3c validated templates, asp template download system and was involved with the company websites.
